Ready to enhance the learning environment of state funded schools in the state, through the procurement of consistent power supply, the Lagos State Government, has settled arrangements to introduce around 172 sun powered boards to light up the schools.
Kick-beginning the activity, Governor Babatunde Fashola introduced the first sunlight based board at Model College, Meiran, guaranteeing to duplicate the establishment of such sun oriented boards crosswise over government funded schools in the state.
Talking at the initiation, Fashola expressed that in East Africa, particularly Kenya, Rwanda and Ethiopia, where power supply has been just as epileptic like it is in Nigeria, sun oriented boards have been given to serve as an option.
